"Discover the Vision"

V
ision Statement:

“All peoples in Union with the Trinity through
Discipleship of Jesus and Mary.”

Vision Foundation:

The vision statement of a religious society expresses its purpose. The vision is an expression of the ideal to be attained or realized. Vision is found through discernment and is the ultimate reason for the existence of The Society itself. Working in union with the Holy Spirit, the members of The Society are able to discern this ideal or purpose for its existence.

Vision Explanation:

The Vision Statement of The Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity,

“All peoples in Communion with the Most Holy Trinity and Our Lady, through the Discipleship of Jesus and Mary.”

Is explained in the following manner:
  • All peoples refers to all humanity from the beginning until the end of time.
  • Communion with the Most Holy Trinity refers to the Communion that exists within the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as he exists within himself and as he creates outside of himself.
  • Communion with the Most Holy Trinity and Our Lady refers to the God-Mary relationship of Mary with the Triune God with Mary as Daughter of the Father, Mother of the Son and Spouse of the Holy Spirit. This God-Mary relationship serves as the model for all humanity’s relationship with the Triune God. In this Triune God-Mary Relationship (CCC # 773), God has made his Mother, our Mother. He has also made her his disciple. She is the first and best disciple. We are to become disciples of Jesus and Mary. As disciples of Mary in Jesus through gift and love we come to the Communion of the Most Holy Trinity. When we come to that relationship of Communion, we are able to fulfill the vision of “all peoples in union with the Most Holy Trinity.”
  • Discipleship of Jesus refers to living in oneness with Jesus in his Trinitarian Life.
  • Discipleship of Maryrefers to becoming like Jesus by imitating Mary as the first and best disciple of Jesus.

1 CCC will be used to refer to the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
