Apostolic Works

T
he Holy Father, John Paul II the Great, asked America to say yes to New Evangelization. He chose Our Lady of Guadalupe as the Star of this New Evangelization. John Paul II desired that all the nations of America be united and be brought to live the New Evangelization in order to increase the faith-life of all the peoples of the Americas. The Holy Father then encouraged this New Evangelization to be brought to the entire world.

In his Encyclical, Redemptoris Missio (Mission of the Redeemer), the Holy Father John Paul reminds us that the Church exists in order to evangelize and that the moment has come to commit all the Church’s energies to a New Evangelization (Cf. Introduction no. 3). The Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity is engaged in Apostolic Works of New Evangelization throughout the world.

Church Unity

The Anglican Use Rite was given by the Holy See to be a bridge to unity between the Anglican Church and the Catholic Church. The celebrations of this Anglican Rite are manifest at the Campus Chapel of the College of Our Lady of Corpus Christi, in the city of Corpus Christi, Texas. A special approbation by the local Ordinary has been granted for this. We see in this service Our Lady’s mission to bring about the unity of the Body of Christ for which Jesus prayed.

Specialized Evangelization Apostolates

Our Lady’s Society is moving to fulfill this challenge of the Holy Father throughout the world. In this vein of Apostolic Work as prescribed by John Paul II, currently we are in preparation of a full Ecclesial Team of New Evangelization to bring forth its fruitfulness in God’s Divine Plan.
