Ministry

n the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, our brothers are involved in many ministries based upon their gifts. God gives us many gifts and talents that are implemented into the Society of Our Lady.

A Brother… Has a wonderful vocation. Is a man of deep prayer and graced with many blessings from God our Father, the one who created us. Strives to become one with God our Father, Jesus Christ his Son - our Brother and the Holy Spirit. Serves on Ecclesial Family Teams, in areas of deepest apostolic need drawing all peoples to Christ in Covenant Communion of the Most Holy Trinity in the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity. Uses the gifts God has given him to serve the Church and within the Missions throughout the world of Our Lady’s Society. Is respected in his work and is brother to all. Works to build Gods’ kingdom on earth and to prepare for the life yet to come. Uses the gifts God has given him to serve the Church and within the Missions throughout the world of Our Lady’s Society. The brothers, as members of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, serve in areas of deepest apostolic need. One of the most pressing needs in our day is the restoration of human dignity in the lives of many.

There are many factors that have come into play to erode this dignity. It is a special task therefore of the religious brother to witness to those whom he serves; Christ their Brother who loves them, and has redeemed them. He ministers, not by preaching with words, but in the example of the great St Francis “Preach the gospel always, and use words when necessary”.

The brother lives his life as a very witness of the scriptures and of Jesus himself as an “elder brother” to those whom he serves. A brother maybe involved in any type of ministry according to his gifts. It is there in this particular ministry that he is called to exude Christ’s presence.

In the community, the religious brothers serve in many capacities, but their ministries is focused on the gifts that God has given the brother. With great love and joy the community discerns the brothers gifts and assigns him appropriately to where he is suited after formation.

Currently, our brothers are assigned as a Sacristan and Parish Work, Hospitality, Administration and vocations work. AIDS Rehabilitation and Counseling; Prison Ministry amongst others.
