Mission Development Office
he Church today has the privilege to bring the Gospel by word and witness to all peoples. We know that Mary is our Mother. She is also Mother of the Church
and we, The Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity exhorts Mary, Mother of the Church to intercede for us in order that we may fulfill the missionary
mandate of Jesus who said, “Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold I am with you always, until the end of the age” (Matthew 28: 18-20 NAB). As Mother of the
Church, we seek Our Lady’s intercession in assisting us in carrying out the missionary mandate of Jesus - the mandate of living the mission of Jesus.
The Holy Spirit is the very soul of the Church. He gives us courage and strength to carry out this mandate of the mission of Jesus. We must ready ourselves to
be transformed and guided by the Holy Spirit; to live most intimately the mystery of Christ in his school of salvation. We now are sent forth by the Holy Spirit,
basing our mission in a dynamic way on the Trinitarian communion of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
