Mexico

Nuevo Laredo. Our Lady’s Mission in this area of Mexico began in 1991. The missionaries serve in the many pastoral needs of the Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows and the outlining mission Churches of the barrios. In this service the Ecclesial Team prepares children and adults in ongoing formation for receiving the Sacraments. The Sisters of Our Lady’s Society on the Ecclesial Team, conduct Bible studies, New Evangelization and the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy. The lay Faithful serve in a medical clinic, (especially in the area of assistance with child-birth and the training of nurses’ aides for women), assisting in the health care of the people at the clinic and throughout the barrios. They provide education extending from primary through secondary schools. The Teams members also provide care for abandoned elderly men and women, giving them their dignity as persons, serving their needs until their Heavenly Father comes to take them to himself.

Benque-Viejo del Carmen. In 1967 The Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity began to serve in Ecclesial Teams in the Parish of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in the small city of Benque-Viejo del Carmen. Our Lady through these schools serves over 3,000 students. The Ecclesial Teams serves in the medical needs of the parish through an out-patient clinic available to the poor. Further extending the care of Our Lady for the people of Belize , a publishing apostolate was opened that prints all of the academic books used throughout the entire country. Likewise, another Ecclesial Team serves in the work of media and evangelization through a radio apostolate.

Belize City. Our Lady’s Society has the privilege to serve in the Parish of The Divine Mercy, in Belize City as well as in the surrounding parishes extending out to San Pedro Island.
