Western Europe

England

Hythe. When England was brought to the faith, the Holy Father at that time sent St. Augustine to Cantebury, to the area of Kent. Our Lady’s Society began her Mission in 1995 in the Arch Diocese of Southwark. The first members of the Ecclesial Team were assigned to the Parish of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Hythe, in the area of Kent which is located in South Eastern England. Our Lady’s Society is there to bring her sons and daughters to the fullness of communion that she has with the Most Holy Trinity. The Shrine of Our Lady of Wales is the central witness of this communion; for when England returns to Walsingham it will have returned to the Church.

The Ecclesial Team’s apostolic and pastoral serving is in the fullness of charity and New Evangelization. Since the Parish (of Our Lady of Good Counsel) has four other missions (additional missions in association with it), it is very extensive. The Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity has placed this great region of apostolic service and mission under the (watchful) care of Our Lady of Walsingham.

Wales

The Mission of Our Lady in Wales is located along the border of England and Wales. This area of mission was first established through the Carmelite Sisters approximately a century before. The Marist Fathers followed the Carmelites and were blessed to serve in this Parish within the last century most recently just previous to the arrival of The Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity. At the request of the Bishop, the members of Our Lady’s Society were assigned to staff this parish. Here again Our Lady’s Society serves in all the pastoral needs of God’s people, most especially in New Evangelization with an emphasis placed upon evangelization of Youth. New areas of service in other parishes of the Diocese are opening up today. This further extends the witness of Our Lady and her Society.

Italy

Subiaco. St. Benedict who renewed the Church with the gift of work and prayer of Jesus, was sent to the region of Subiaco to establish in the Church the new order of Benedictine Fathers and Sisters. Subiaco is an area of Italy with a rich history of men and women who lived in great holiness. Through the invitation of the Abbot-Bishop Stanislaus, Our Lady’s Society came to serve in Subiaco in 1992. In this region, the Ecclesial Team serves in the parish of St. Chaledonia, in the town of Vignola, addressing the areas of all the pastoral needs for apostolic work and New Evangelization. Likewise, the Ecclesial Team serves in the Marian Shrine of “Il Santuario” which is located above the tiny hill-top town of Marano Equo. Here the team members serve in the area of Pre-school Education of children in this mission.

Rome. Our Lady’s Society is privileged at this time to have her priests serving in the Parish of St. John the Baptist in Rome for over a decade. Our Lady is working to serve in all the pastoral needs of the People of God in the Parish through this mission. Under the directives of The Society’s sponsoring Bishop, Edmund Carmody, the Bishop of the Diocese of Corpus Christi, Texas, The Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity looks forward to the establishment of the International Headquarters of the Generalate in Rome, along with a Seminarians’ House of Studies and the future presence of a full Ecclesial Team to serve there.
