Our Lady’s Relationship with the Missionaries of Mercy

W
e understand that Our Lady herself rewards each one of us through her Motherly intercession. Therefore, as Our Mother, she prays for our intentions before God. We as members of Our Lady’s Society ask her to intercede with the Most Holy Trinity for the intentions of each one of those people who carry a great burden and are suffering in the world today.

The Missionaries of Mercy who offer their sufferings up in union with Jesus Christ in His suffering, experience a communion with Our Lady as she suffered with Jesus. Mary wishes to accompany, encourage and teach us all through her presence and example how to come closer to Jesus and to be more identified with him. The Missionaries of Mercy pray, as do all members of Our Lady’s Society, united with Mary. We pray and live with Mary, in Mary and through Mary – to come to our union with Christ. We follow this path of union with Christ because it is the way which God presented Jesus to us in reality and this is the way in which the gift of Jesus Christ is given to us today.
